What is imagined if a *Situ (Small Lake) is trying to interact with its surrounding? As one landmark in Bogor`s district, Situ Cikaret has important role as estuary for organisms who live around it, each part of the Situ has values to be used as source of life including as a space for any kind of interactions that happened.

Meanwhile from time to time myths keep enveloping, giving new stories that sometimes easier to hold or released. By this they are trying to address its surrounding, although often pseudo or even without any reply.

Messages from The Bottom, is a project collecting fragments of story through the objects that found around Situ Cikaret as a code. The codes translated into a messages through participative performance based on Ragil`s experiences or research when he visited and lived one and half month in Cikaret, Bogor District, West Java.

* The name for a lake in West Java which is usually used for small water, usually as an artificial water reservoir
